About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Designer / Production Designer to join our dynamic creative team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of creative projects, with a primary focus on graphic design, print production, and photo retouching. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of expertise in creative development, possess a keen eye for detail, and be adept at working with existing templates while also contributing to the creation of new ones.
Requirements
What you’ll be responsible for:
Creative Development:
Develop visually appealing and effective designs for a variety of projects, with a strong emphasis on graphic design.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver innovative design solutions.
Print Production:
Oversee the end-to-end print production process, ensuring the highest quality and adherence to brand standards.
Liaise with external vendors to coordinate print runs, review proofs, and troubleshoot any production issues that may arise.
Photo Retouching:
Utilize advanced photo retouching skills to enhance the visual appeal of images, ensuring they align with the creative vision and brand aesthetics.
Work closely with photographers and other stakeholders to achieve the desired retouching outcomes.
Template Management:
Manage and work within existing design templates, ensuring consistency across various materials.
Contribute to the development of new templates that align with evolving design trends and brand guidelines.
Quality Control:
Conduct thorough quality checks on all design outputs to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project objectives.
Provide constructive feedback to team members to uphold design standards and foster continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, communications, and product development, to understand project requirements and deliver cohesive design solutions.
Technology Proficiency:
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in design software and technology.
Actively leverage the latest tools and techniques to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of design processes.
The skills and experience you should have:
Proven experience as a Senior Designer or Production Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse design projects.
Proficient in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
Solid understanding of print production processes and requirements.
Advanced skills in photo retouching and manipulation.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality design work.
The skills and experience you should have:
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.
