Laundry Service is looking for a sharp, culture-obsessed Sr. Copywriter to join our team to drive the tone of voice and creative copywriting for a gaming brand’s social channel. The role will mainly be focused on developing a variety of evergreen and campaign content ideas for this social channel and beyond, as well as writing copy and scripts for social content and client-facing presentations.
Above everything, you’re an amazing writer. But in the internet sense. You’re just as comfortable writing meme captions as you are an inspiring brand manifesto. You’re a stickler for the rules when it’s called for, but you also know when to let go when the idea calls for it. As a social native, you instinctively know the kinds of ideas that will fly in-feed and have a knack for expressing them in ways that clients love – both in decks and in meetings. You know how to think small and nimble, as well as big and bold, and you’re equally happy doing both. You have your finger on the pulse of what’s happening in both pop culture and gaming culture, and you know what’s relevant to the brands you work on. You make yourself the expert and put in the work to do so. You’re comfortable working as part of a small multi-disciplinary team, chipping in wherever needed and no ask is too small or too big for you.
You ask questions, you are curious, you take direction well, and you are open to trying new things. Your day-to-day work will include working with an Art Director, Designer and Content Creators to create assets across multiple platforms for our clients. You will also have the support of a Creative Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Developing concepts for – but not limited to - original social content and campaigns, alongside the rest of the Creative team
Participating in brainstorms, communicating concepts and take direction / feedback from Creative Director, strategy and account leads

Collaborating with Art Director to bring to life concepts through storyboards and scripts
Collaborating with the Content Creator to ensure the team’s creative vision comes to life in the final product

4+ years experience in a similar social-focused role, either in an agency or social publisher
Excellent social-first creative thinking
