Responsibilities
The Senior Manager, Business Development is responsible for pursuing and executing new commercial &
strategic partnerships with fintechs and emerging digital platforms. The role requires a balanced mix of solutioning, sales, partnership development, and thought leadership primarily across the US fintech community. Successful candidates with have shown and can clearly demonstrate strong business and product acumen, deep industry experience and contacts, business development experience, and an individual who can formulate and pursue strategies to find meaningful growth for Visa.
The opportunity is to join Visa’s Digital Partnerships team which works broadly across the payments and fintech ecosystem and closely internally within Visa’s product organization as well as other internal stakeholders to execute on commercial and strategy partnership opportunities, and other strategic projects. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Business Development:
Structure and execute commercial agreements directly with fintechs and key technology companies across Visa’s ecosystem, with a focus on payments infrastructure providers as well as data and risk platform partnerships.
Bring &
further develop vertical expertise in key fintech growth areas and develop segment strategies to grow Visa’s footprint.
This role will work across several verticals across the team
Product Partnerships:
Identify, filter, and bring forward opportunities for Visa to plug in emerging technology to augment existing products and services, or to stand up new ones.
This work will require close collaboration with product and technology leaders, structuring of business cases, and ability to navigate complex and bespoke deals
Thought Leadership:
Provide market and client feedback to Visa product teams to guide roadmap and prioritization decisions, and go-to-market and commercialization strategies.
Develop an “open front door” narrative and approach, finding ways to support and be helpful across a wider swath of the ecosystem.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
