The Opportunity
The Sr. Associate will focus on Insight Sourcing’s IT Center of Excellence (COE) to support all aspects of client-facing IT sourcing and cost optimization projects. You'll be expected to support all aspects of Insight Sourcing’s client-facing projects with direction from our experienced management team. In addition, you'll use your consulting, problem-solving, project management, and data analysis skills to assist client decision-making at private equity (PE) and Fortune 500 companies while still maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Shape Client Success in IT Procurement
Typical client-facing projects would involve IT within the context of:
Strategic sourcing and cost optimization (both within a company and across a portfolio of companies)
Managed service support for strategic negotiations and software renewal pipeline
Procurement opportunity assessment and opportunity roadmap
Procurement transformation
Spend analytics
Make vs. buy decision analysis
Benchmarking and best practices implementation
Requirements
The ideal candidate possesses some experience and exposure to IT procurement and/or negotiations across areas such as IT Services &
Labor, IT Infrastructure, IT Software, and Telecommunications. We are looking for a passionate individual who can infuse Accenture Strategy Procurement Consulting with their expertise in IT procurement while demonstrating a strong aptitude for learning and growth.
Position Requirements
Sr. Associate
3-5 years of management consulting experience supporting procurement and / or strategic sourcing initiatives within the IT procurement space
Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, performance-driven environment
Ability to effectively plan and manage multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives simultaneously
Demonstrated project management, consulting, leadership, and analytical skills
Strong work ethic and a high level of integrity
Effective communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to present comfortably to senior executives
Proficient at building and nurturing client relationships;
proven client-facing skills
Undergraduate degree with a strong GPA from a highly competitive institution
Located in or willingness to relocate to Atlanta, GA
