We are currently seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer with PowerBI expertise for a remote position. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to data management and data integrity projects while utilizing their SQL and PowerBI skills.
Key Skills/Attributes:
Proficiency in SQL (Structured Query Language) for database development and management
Experience in data modeling, data analysis, and data manipulation
Strong understanding of database concepts, including normalization, indexing, and query optimization
Hands-on experience with PowerBI for data visualization and reporting
Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets to extract actionable insights
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize SQL queries and scripts to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources
Design and implement database structures and schemas to ensure data integrity and performance
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective PowerBI dashboards and reports
Create visually compelling and interactive PowerBI reports to convey key business metrics and trends
Perform data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies, and provide insights to support decision-making processes
Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data by implementing data quality checks and validation processes
Maintain and enhance existing SQL databases and PowerBI solutions as needed
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for SQL and PowerBI-related issues
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum of 6 years of experience in SQL development and data analysis
Strong proficiency in SQL Server or similar relational database management systems (RDBMS)
Demonstrated expertise in PowerBI for data visualization and reporting
Solid understanding of data management principles and best practices
Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions within defined timelines
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment
Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
