DeltaCare, LC, a leading therapy staffing solutions company, is currently seeking a motivated and passionate Speech Therapist to join our team on a PRN (as needed) basis in Albany, GA. As a PRN Speech Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in various settings, primarily hospital, providing high-quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goals
- Implement treatment plans through a variety of therapy techniques and modalities
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on speech and swallowing techniques
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care for patients
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes
Qualifications:
- A degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work PRN/as needed hours
