We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities
Create and implement personalized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and goals
Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and exercises to improve speech and language abilities
Assist patients in developing alternative methods of communication, such as sign language or augmentative communication devices
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to provide comprehensive care
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques
Stay up-to-date with advancements in speech language pathology through continuing education and professional development
Requirements
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in speech language pathology
Strong knowledge of communication and swallowing disorders and treatment techniques
Ability to assess and diagnose speech-language disorders and develop appropriate treatment plans
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
