Special Education Teacher

360 Degree Therapy is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will have the important responsibility of providing specialized instruction and support to students with special needs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address the unique strengths and challenges of each student.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver lessons that align with students' IEP goals and objectives
Modify instructional materials and strategies to meet students' diverse learning needs
Assess student progress and make data-informed instructional decisions
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to support student achievement and well-being
Provide a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and growth
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and keep up-to-date with best practices in special education
We are currently looking to hire a Special Education Teacher who possesses the following:
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
Valid teaching certification in Special Education
Proven experience in designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with special needs
Ability to establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
Strong organizational and time management skills
