Action Day Middle School offers a rich educational experience to children emphasizing small class sizes and a hands-on approach to learning. All students are warmly accepted and guided along their educational path throughout our program in our small, family-like atmosphere. Our school offers a variety of extracurricular activities within our regular program including Spanish, Dance, PE, daily electives, an all-inclusive sports program, and Life-Skill education in a nurturing environment where Creativity-Innovation-Entrepreneurship thrive! As a result, our 8th-grade graduates go on to schools such as Archbishop Mitty, St. Francis, Notre Dame, Bellarmine, and many others.
Our team is ecstatic to be a part of our 2024-25 school year enhancements including facility improvements, the opening of our newly designed Innovation Lab, curriculum updates, new equipment for our expressive arts program and computer science lab, technology upgrades, and teacher trainings in effective instruction and use of Artificial Intelligence to enhance teaching and learning!

Full-time Middle School Spanish Teacher- 5th- 8th Grade

As a Middle School Spanish Teacher, you will Introduce a foreign language and cultural aspects to students to enrich their educational experience while making it relevant and engaging. Along with preparing students for high school Spanish with a solid foundation for Spanish 1, you will provide additional challenges to those planning for Spanish 2 in Grade 9! As you oversee purposeful sequencing of the Spanish program, our teachers keep it fun, fostering a love for language through hands-on learning, speaking and listening opportunities, presentations, and more!
Compensation:

Requirements
Our ideal candidate will come to us with:
3-5 years of teaching experience
Bachelor’s degree
Current Teaching Credential (preferred)
Masters in Education or Related Field (preferred)
A love and passion for working with students
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A reliable, can-do attitude with an eagerness to learn and grow
