Software Engineer - Full Performance

We are currently seeking a Software Engineer – Full Performance to join our team.
This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. Network infrastructure engineering services are comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery.
Primary Job Duties &
Required Experience:
· A bachelor’s or master’s degrees in computer science are preferred
· Minimum of three (3) year’s relevant work experience with the following skillsets:

Eclipse developmental duties Git Hub, Dev Ops, Java and Python.
· Professional working experience in security review of applications and infrastructure.
· 2+ Years' experience participating in agile activities.
· 3+ years of RECENT Java or Python experience
· Research with new technologies in object-oriented programming experience needed.
· Experience in Cloud based services required.
· Candidate should be able to work well in an engineering team environment with other teammates
Who possess varied skills levels.
Preferred Education, Experience &
Skills:
· Experience with infrastructure automation technologies like Docker, Vagrant, etc.
· Experience with build automation technologies like Maven, Jenkins, etc.
· Experience with building APIs and services using REST, SOAP, etc
· Experience with scripting languages like Perl, Shell, etc
Job Requirements
· Active TS/SCI + Full Scope Poly U.S. Government Security is required
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
· 3-5 years of relevant professional work experience
· Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
· Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to network and establish professional relationships
· Ability to prioritize, demonstrated strong organizational skills, and ability to meet or exceed deadlines
Physical Demands:
Position will require frequent sitting, standing, and/or mobility within an office setting. Employee must be able to use hands to complete work at a workstation/computer, be able to reach, type and manipulate with hands, fingers, and arms;
lift and/or move up to 20 pounds;
talk, see and hear.
Work Environment:
Work is performed on client site in a professional office environment with moderate stress and noise levels. Position requires employee to effectively use a computer, potentially for long periods of time, and to accommodate potentially frequent interruptions. Candidate should be both customer-focused and present a team approach to overall work.
Schedule:
Business core hours are Monday through Friday, from 09:
30 to 14:
30 ET. Standard work hours may vary for this position based upon contract requirements. Position will be located onsite at a customer facility in Herndon, VA.
