About the team
The SACM (Service Asset and Configuration Management) and SPM (Service Portfolio Management) teams are globally accountable for ensuring accuracy about business services and their underlying service assets. This includes CMDB Management, Software &
Hardware Asset Management, and Service Portfolio Management. You will be part of a small team providing Service Asset Management globally for all Worldpay service assets.
What you will be doing
The Software Asset Manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of Worldpay’s software. This includes leading Worldpay into being a world-class software organization, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, managing the software lifecycle, optimizing costs, keeping Worldpay audit-ready, and being a master negotiator.
Develop and implement software ITAM strategies, software asset best practices and procedures to optimize data management.
Manage software across the entire lifecycle:
acquisition, deployment, compliance, renewal.
Develop complex software asset reports and automate data population tasks for efficient analysis.
Troubleshoot software asset data discrepancies and resolve complex data quality issues.
Provide training, expert advice, and guidance on software asset functionalities and ITAM principles.
Optimize software asset utilization, increase efficiency, and reduce lifecycle costs and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure software asset compliance.
Create and manage an incoming software asset request strategy.
Oversee software asset tracking for accuracy and ensure data integrity.
Manage software asset procurement, ensuring adherence to vendor contracts.
Manage the End-of-Life process for software assets.
What you bring:
5+ years of experience with software asset management
2+ years of experience with ServiceNow.
Strong data management and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
In-depth knowledge of software asset management practices, asset lifecycle management principles, data, and financial analysis.
In depth knowledge of how to use ITSM methodologies, eg:
ITIL and Agile
Added bonus if you have:
Extra experience with ServiceNow, specifically the licensing, asset, and CMDB spaces.
Experience with databases and table structures.
ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations certification
Proficiency in spreadsheet and database software
