SUMMARY
The Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is seeking an experienced, licensed, psychiatric social worker for the Child Psychiatry program.
We are currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join Child Team at the Child and Adolescent Clinic located on the downtown campus of the University of Maryland Medical Center.
The Child and Adolescent Clinic is a part of a large academic Department of Psychiatry. We are committed to excellence in service, teaching and research. The clinic provides comprehensive mental health services to children, youth, and their families. These services include Diagnostic assessments and evaluations, Individual, family and group therapy, and medication management;
delivered in person and/or through telehealth services, as needed.
The child team provides psychiatric treatment including trauma informed care and case management services to children and adolescent with a variety of psychiatric diagnoses. Caseload size is approximately 30-50.
Licensure as an LMSW or LCSW-C (preferred) in the state of Maryland is required. A minimum of 2-4 years experience in the delivery of mental health services to the specified population is required.
