Hello Sunshine is seeking a creative and dynamic Social Video Coordinator, who will be instrumental in crafting engaging, innovative video content that resonates on social media. In this role, you'll leverage digital content creation experience and your expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud to produce, shoot, and edit videos that not only tell compelling stories but also captivate and engage our audience.
With your deep understanding of what drives shareability and engagement online, coupled with your exceptional communication and organizational skills, you'll play a key role in bringing our mission of celebrating female storytelling to life.
This position is a hybrid role with 3 days per week onsite in Los Angeles, CA.
What You Will Do:
Ideate, edit, and oversee workflow on social versioning for multiple platforms
Deliver polished edits that illustrate a keen understanding of what works on social media;
shift between editing, as needed, and overseeing editors
Create, produce, shoot and digital video content and series for organic editorial and branded programs
Make creative, fun, and social-driven videos that people will like and share across our platforms
Brainstorm and pitch opportunities for original videos
Consistently deliver videos that drive views and engagement on social media channels
Develop new and clever ways to bring Hello Sunshine to life in video
Research and write scripts;
develop treatments, shot lists, and breakdowns as necessary
Act as key stakeholder in delivery workflows, ensuring deadlines are hit and client specifications are met
Expertly and proactively problem-solve, arriving at unique solutions to complex problems
Requirements
2-3 years experience with social video production and editing
5 years proven experience creating compelling digital content
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop)
A thorough understanding of digital video platforms and what makes content shareable
Excellent organizational, prioritization and communication skills
The ability to work independently while remaining an excellent collaborator
A positive and curious disposition and a genuine love for experimenting on social media
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and disciplines
Ability to use data to measure success and identify areas for improvement
