Reporting to the Specialty Digital Marketing VP, the Social Media &
Affiliate Marketing Manager is a self-starter, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with future vacation prospects by powering the total social media advocacy, social media contest/event giveaway, and affiliate marketing strategy for the sale of vacation packages via these channels online.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Specialty Digital Marketing VP to execute annual marketing plan and strategy in the following areas:
Social Media Strategy and Collaboration:
Work closely with the Social Media Director to develop and refine Westgate's social media strategy for vacation packages. This includes increasing brand visibility, engagement, loyalty, and website traffic, as well as managing giveaways and contests from start to finish.
Affiliate Program Management:
Oversee the development and management of the online affiliate program. This involves identifying new affiliate partners, managing pilot campaigns, maximizing revenue, and coordinating with affiliate managers for successful campaigns.
Content Management, Optimization, and Branding:
Manage day-to-day posting, editing, and optimization of content on various social media platforms. Collaborate with the creative team to enhance video and content strategies, especially on platforms like TikTok and Instagram/Facebook Reels. Establish and optimize company-branded pages on social media platforms to enhance visibility and professionalism.
Community Outreach and Engagement:
Develop and expand community outreach efforts to engage new audiences through contests, special events, and on-site activations.
Leadership, Guidance, and Stakeholder Engagement:
Provide leadership and guidance on social media best practices, content publishing guidelines, and growth strategies across the organization. Collaborate with company stakeholders to ensure accurate representation of Westgate's social media presence in key business initiatives, events, and activations.
Education, Analysis, and Reporting:
Serve as a resource for internal teams, providing education on digital and social media trends. Lead the development and execution of social media plans. Establish KPIs, analyze campaign results, and deliver findings and recommendations to the Social Media Director. Collaborate with advertising and analytics teams to amplify ROI and track campaign performance. Analyze ongoing performance of social media channels and campaigns, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and actionable recommendations for improvement.
User-Generated Content (UGC) Advocacy and Project Management:
Manage the UGC advocacy/social contest marketing platform Flip.To, leveraging it to reach new guests and engage current audiences through contests, events, and brand campaigns. Take ownership of social media projects, ensuring effective communication, timely delivery, and adherence to timelines.
Content Creation and Innovation:
Write short-form content such as captions, headlines, and post content as needed. Foster an environment that encourages intelligent risk-taking, innovation, and creativity in social media strategies.
Ad Hoc Responsibilities:
Perform any other duties as assigned
