Job Description
Responsible for maintaining and creating strong relationships with customers for continued sales growth and Hardware Distributors presence in small project work. Function as part of the sales team for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation and long-term account goals aligned with the organization’s objectives.
Drive revenue for the assigned region through quotes and sales
Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge to select the correct products or assist clients in making product selections, based on need, product specifications, and applicable regulations
Visit client locations and complete walk-throughs, take field measurements, assess needs, etc.
Answer client questions about products, prices, availabilityand product uses
Prepare accurate quotes and sales orders, following company procedures and policies for mark-ups, GPM'sand discounts
Maintain close contact with clients to identify value add opportunities and services
Provide superior customer service to clients and establish long term business relationships
Execute annual individual and group sales plans for assigned region
Participate in regular Sales meetings to provide relevant updates, needs, and issues to resolve
Maintain and improve professional and technical knowledge by attending industry-related or manufacturer, vendor, or distributor-supported educational presentations/training sessions/workshops. Completion of quarterly and annual training requirements.
