Signal Engineer

Job Description
AECOMis actively seeking a talentedSignal Engineerto join ourWorld Class Rail Teamin ourNew York Metro Region. In this position the ideal candidate shall have experience in the design and implementation of the following train control systems to include:
Communication Based Train Control (CBTC), Positive Train Control (PTC), Automatic Train Supervision (ATS), Automatic Train Protection (ATP), Automatic Train Operation (ATO), Solid State Interlocking (SSI), Cab Signaling, Digital Tack Circuit Systems and conventional block signaling systems.
Daily duties and responsibilities include:
Vital and non-vital processor programming.
Developing Control Lines and Route and Aspect Charts.
Develop and review design plans and technical specifications.
Coordination of project designs with other disciplines including attendance at project meetings.
Review shop drawings, record changes and communicate directly with suppliers, contractors and client representatives as required.
Prepare construction estimates and engineering budgets.
