We have been growing significantly over the last few years and continue to grow at a rapid pace.
Our packing and crating division is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a receiving clerk position. The successful candidate will have at least one year of shipping and receiving experience and able to work and adapt in a fast paced warehouse environment. This job requires a lot of physical work and manual data recording. Candidates must be able to read and use a tape measure. The work will not only consist of working inside our warehouse, but also on our "
Outside"
yard during the summer and winter months. Forklift experience required.
Requirements
Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
Prepare items for shipment.
Compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
Examine incoming shipments for damages, record shortages and correspond with office staff to rectify damages and shortages.
Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
Basic office skills and other clerical/customer service tasks.
3 years of forklift experience
Skills
1+ years shipping &
receiving experience.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Willingness to learn.
Strong attention to detail
Must possess excellent time management, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
Self-motivated with a good attitude.
Must possess excellent organizational skills.
