Company Overview and Job Description Summary:
Oceania International was founded in 2014 and is currently a nine-figure business with triple-digit annual growth. It is engaged in full value chain cross-border e-commerce. We are looking for an energetic part time self-starting Shipping/ Receiving Clerk. The ideal candidate needs to be familiar with FedEx, UPS, LTL and International shipping and willing to learn.
Requirements
Main Responsibilities/Functions:
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the shipping and receiving area.
Engage in clear verbal and written communication with the Director of Logistics and team members.
Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
Will store materials and supplies, manage inventory of shipping supplies and products
Make arrangements for pick up
Forward shipping and receive documentation to the appropriate departments on a regular and timely basis
Compare and identify information and counts, weights, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
Examine incoming shipments, record shortages and correspond with shipping department
Will operate lift trucks to move or hoist materials to proper areas.
Perform special projects as directed
Qualifications:
Fluency in English and Mandarin
Basic math Skills
Good oral/written/reading communication skills
Must have intermediate computer skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software
Highly developed sense of organization and attention to detail
Mechanical/organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
Able to work under pressure to achieve deadlines
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
There are prolonged periods of sitting, standing and working at a computer and on the phone with a headset. Traveling may be required.
