Job Description
As a Manufacturing Engineer I - Industrial Engineering at Staff Finders Technical, you will play a crucial role in supporting the manufacturing process and improving operational efficiency. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements, work instructions, and equipment modifications.
Responsibilities Include:
Assist in the analysis and optimization of manufacturing processes
Identify areas of inefficiency and propose solutions for improvement
Develop and implement work instructions and standard operating procedures
Collaborate with production teams to identify bottlenecks and implement productivity enhancements
Conduct time studies and evaluate cycle times to optimize production flow
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing projects
Provide support in the design and implementation of new manufacturing equipment
Validate and verify tooling and equipment for production
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
Experience with process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.) is a plus
SAP
Root cause analysis and corrective action experience
Data analytics skills – visualization skills
Communication is key, must be a team-player and organized. Will work with front line pack/ship people, engineers, pickers and everything in between. Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels.
