Assist the operation business partners to achieve collection rate and payment velocity goals
Negotiate the settlement of patient medical bills
Audit patient files to ensure all payments are accounted for:
LOP’s, check details, HIPAA release
Overall AR management of the business
Follow up on and track collection and collection payment status and documentation
Review, approve or reject, and allocate payments to patient accounts.
Address counteroffers on previous collection requests
Process balance verifications as needed
Process affidavit and records verifications as needed
Requirements
Experiences
Ability to understand legal case management end to end to improve patient clinical outcomes
Connect high quality care with navigating complex legal process
Collection experience
Strong negotiation skills
Excellent knowledge of Adobe Pro
Experience working with Excel, Power BI and MS Office
Experience with data reporting Proficiency with NetSuite
Proficiency in PowerBI preferred
Education
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
Paralegal strongly preferred
Skills/Abilities
Extensive hands-on experience with office equipment
Outstanding customer service abilities
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with company policy
Highly organized and dependable, capable of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks
Effective time management skills
Proficient in clear and concise documentation
