Job Description
TheService Plannerwill actively plan, coordinate, manage, monitor and report on all aspects of the maintenance, repair, operations (MRO) for their assigned products. They will also cross-train with other service planners to ensure full coverage of all MRO activities for all products at all times. Service planners are responsible for the timely and efficient processing of repair items. Service planners are ultimately responsible to ensure that repair Turn Around Time (TAT) satisfy customer and business requirements.
Responsibilities &
Tasks:
Create service calls
Transfer calls to maintenance sales orders (MSO)
Release MSOs
Confirm flow-downs from deliverables in MSOs (ship-to address, customer PO number, etc.)
Enter contract line extensions in MSOs
Plan work orders
Receive items to work orders
Release work orders
Print route cards .Pdf to Open Text
Print physical route cards
Generate subcontracting Purchase Reqs in work orders
Interrupt Work Orders as applicable
Re-start the TAT clock as applicable
Verify MSO Sales Prices Updated with the Deliverable
Remove Interrupts on Work Order
Update work orders
Update work orders and MSOs to return the unit “AS IS”
Deliver route cards to shop floor
Deliver items to shop floorRe-start the TAT clock
Authorities:
Maintenance of work orders
Maintain item ordering and planning data.
Prioritize receipts of material needed to meet schedule.
Determine priorities in conjunction
Outside Business Relationships:
Sustaining Program Managers.
Procurement Manager &
group.
Operations &
Material Managers.
Information Technology Administrators.
Sales &
Invoicing Manager and group.
