Senior Underwriter Agriculture

About this job:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to lead the underwriting of agriculture business in Latin America. Reporting to the Global head of agriculture, the ideal candidate be a pro-active and experienced agriculture underwriter, with excellent communication skills together with expertise in the agriculture insurance/reinsurance business.
About the role:
Develop and execute underwriting strategy for agriculture business in LatAm region.
Service the in-force portfolio throughout the year including but not limited to reviewing special acceptance, monitor account developments including run-off business.
Establish and maintain dialogues with clients and brokers in the market, and to hunt for opportunities that fit Partner Re’s risk appetite.
Provide peer reviews of agriculture business of other regions and able to back-up within the agriculture team.
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure data quality, reserving adequacy.
Represent PartnerRe in industry bodies and conferences to build brand recognition and promote our platform.
