Senior Test Engineer

Job Description
The Custom Mixed Signal business unit at Renesas Semiconductor is seeking to hire a Senior IC Test Engineer at the Chandler, AZ site. The work environment revolves around the guiding principles of building success through respect, integrity, and initiative.As a semiconductor test engineer, you will have the opportunity to research product technical requirements, validate its performance characteristics, and then developing and maximizing test solutions including hardware for high volume manufacturing. You will work collaboratively with definition, design, and application engineers to root-cause product issues, identify opportunities for resolution and improvement.
Performance Objectives
Within 30 daysthe candidate will be familiar with the product introduction process and the Test &
Characterization guidelines. They will have an understanding of the Automated Test Equipment used in production and the software requirements for program generation.
At the end of3 monthsthe candidate will be functioning as a working member of the group. They will be writing programs to assist with data collection, analyzing the results, and communicating to peers. They will also be involved with the development of test plans and hardware for new products.
After the firstyearthe candidate will be an integral member of the team. They will be fully responsible for product release efforts and will be expected to identify opportunities for product/process improvement.
