WORK LOCATION:
HYBRID POSITION, the candidate is expected to work a minimum of three (3) full days per week in the office.
Job Duties
Thesubmittedcandidatemustbeabletoperformthefollowingduties and/or tasks:
Workasadeveloperandsubjectmatterexpertforapplicationsdealingwithcomplexfinancialbusinessprocessesonlargecross-functionalapplicationprojects,ensuringthatrobustandscalablesolutionsareimplemented.
Provideguidanceandoversighttoqualityassuranceonallnewcodefrominceptionthroughintegration,stagingandproductionenvironments.
Providehands-onsupporttopeersandmentorothers.
Identify,analyzeandresolveproblemsandissuesthroughtheuseoftroubleshootingtoolsandtechniqueswellasteamwork.
Workwithteamtowardcontinuousimprovement;
Mayincludedesign,definitionofroadmaps,standardizationofprocessesandmethodologies;
Collaboratewithotherdevelopersandarchitectstodriveguidelines,methodologies,anddocumentation.
Workinpartnershipwithdistributedcross-functionalteamstoensureallaspectsoftheprojectiscommunicated,supportedanddeliveredtothehigheststandards.
Developandapplyknowledgeoftrends,relevantsoftwaredevelopmenttechnologiesandmethodologies.
Requirements
Qualifications
Candidate must have a minimum of 7+ years as a lead developer or development manager 2. 5+ years of broad experience working with development technologies including CA Gen, Classic ASP, DB2 for z/OS or Oracle databases or similar relational databases. Highly desired:
VB and Javascript, Microsoft Visual Studio/.NET.
KnowledgeofterminologyandconceptsofDB2forz/OSorOracledatabasesorsimilarrelationaldatabases,includingSQLproficiency;
ProficientwithComputerAssociates’CAGenworkstationtoolsetforwebserver,onlineandbatchprocedures;
KnowledgeofComputerAssociates’CAGenComProxyservice;
KnowledgeofActiveServerPages(ClassicASP)webpagedevelopmentlanguagesVBandJ-script;
KnowledgeofIBMZ-Server,CICS,JCL,andCOBOL;
KnowledgeofMicrosoftVisualStudio/.Netpreferred;
Experiencewiththe developmentandmaintenanceofSoftwaresystemsdealingwithcomplexfinancialbusinessprocesses;
Skilledinverbalandwrittencommunication,interpersonal,conflictresolution,andcustomerservice;

Education:
Bachelor’sorMaster’sDegreeinComputerScience,InformationSystemsorotherrelatedfieldorequivalentworkexperience.
