Job Description
Responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing efficient information technology systems and processes to meet the organization's business objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct feasibility studies, and develop system specifications. Evaluate existing systems, identifies areas for improvement, and recommends solutions to enhance system performance, reliability, and security. Oversee system testing, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide support to end users. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices, ensuring that the organization's IT Operations remains up-to-date and aligned with business needs. Mentors other Systems Analysts on the team. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Participates as a team member and potentially as a team leader in the application services delivery group.
Possesses sufficient knowledge of business functions to effectively participate in technical analysis, design construction and implementation.
Creates solutions to problems using a structured approach keeping in mind long term maintainability and quick accessibility.
Tests solutions properly against customer acceptance criteria to ensure a quality application.
Documents consistently and accurately on all projects.
Communicates and maintains a productive working relationship with user base of product/service line as well as all appropriate parties to an assignment, both internal and external to IT.
Reports appropriate and correct status to project leadership, manager and Director.
Improves knowledge in new technologies in order to use them in approved projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.
