Senior Staff Accountant

Job Overview:
Stardomis seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in general accounting, financial reporting, and analysis. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Perform variance analysis and provide explanations for significant variances.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Coordinate and support the annual audit process.
Maintain and update fixed asset schedules.
Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of internal controls.
Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.G., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
