Overview
The Brand Communications team enhances the brand through public relations and reputation management, while also keeping Procorians informed, inspired, and engaged via impactful internal and communications programs. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Product &
Technology Communications and is based in Austin, Texas or Remote, U.S.
As a Senior Specialist, Product &
Technology Communications, you’re a storyteller with a passion for technology. This person will lead our end-to-end Business Technology (IT) enterprise communications strategy;
implement a high-impactengineering communications program that motivates and spotlights our developers, and partner with Product &
Technology operations and enablement to deliver communications that inform, inspire and align global Procorians.
We’re looking for an exceptional writer, expert communications strategist, and technology savvy communications pro with a knack for translating complex technical concepts. We build the software that builds the world, and this role is an exciting opportunity to work hand-in-hand with the teams developing cutting-edge products for Procore employees and customers.
What you’ll do:
Develop and execute our enterprise Business Technology and Security communications strategy in partnership with our SVP, Enterprise Systems &
Infrastructure and CSO.
Serve as the primary communications advisor to Procore’s SVP, Engineering and Engineering heads to inspire and inform our rapidly expanding global engineering team.
Build communications for company and department-wide all-hands, town halls, videos, organizational changes, and strategic initiatives.
Contribute to Procore’s enterprise communications forums, including Procore All-Hands, our company intranet (The Core), Slack, and email.
Spearhead implementation of our internal email analytics tool, Staffabse, in close collaboration with the Brand Communications team.
Maintain the Technology editorial calendar and lead content for tech-focused newsletters and speaker series including:
Tech Bytes, Protect Procore, and Tech Talks.
Collaborate closely with the Brand Communications team to amplify corporate narratives and spotlight customer impact stories that engage and inspire technology teams.
What we’re looking for:
6+ years of technology communications experience, preferably in high growth SaaS organizations.
Extreme attention to detail and ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
Proven track record advising executives on communications.
Results-oriented, highly-autonomous self-starter with a focus on measurable impact.
Strong writer with extensive experience developing strategic communications plans.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Naturally curious, collaborative, and calculated.
Customer-centric approach with a growth mindset.
Takes initiative for their role and career progression and continuously demonstrates accountability.
