DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sell, broker, and respond to daily customer requests for quotes, through effective research and understanding of pricing / margin requirements / Negotiate pricing and close deals.
Perform research, qualification, selection, and purchase of non-inventory aircraft parts
Negotiate best possible cost for brokered parts to ensure gross margin goals are met
Making outbound calls to prospects and develop new accounts
Achieve monthly sales targets and will be expected to reach or exceed those targets
Verify on-time shipment of customer parts when there is an urgent requirement for expedited shipping
Identify and qualify financially stable customers.
Function as the first line of communication with the Customer to assess parts needs
Consistently maintain and accurately update the information in the database
Develop, maintain and manage Data (Mini Pack) for all APUs, Landing Gear and Heat Exchangers for sale or Lease
Manage the collection of up-front payment information from customers
Maintain a supportive role with the accounting to ensure customers stay within the confines of their approved credit responsibilities while identifying opportunities for new and increased credit lines
You will work jointly with the Sales team, Sales Managers, and Purchasing team to ensure full customer service
Maintains a positive work environment through encouraging and open communication
Develop trust with other representatives and management through a team building atmosphere
Identifies new business opportunities, initiating communication with decision makers.
Solve problems and make effective decisions regarding parts availability, delivery time issues, cost analysis, and regulatory requirements
Learn and remain current on market conditions
Requirements
Sales experience preferred
Outgoing and motivated with a great attitude
Ability to build relationships with clients
Great communication skills
Ability to multi-task
Works well independently and in a team environment
Experience in brokering/purchasing aircraft parts is an asset
Established client base preferred
Negotiation skills
Must be able to work independently, stay focused, and remain self-motivated
Sales planning, strategies and budgeting
Computer literacy with fluency in basic Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to travel
Ability to be badged for airport access and government security clearance as needed
