The Role:
As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the sales cycle, offering technical expertise through presentations, product demos, and technical evaluations. Your responsibilities include qualifying and closing opportunities with customers and collaborating with the product team to prioritize features based on field insights. This position requires cross-functional partnership with leaders across various departments, including Product, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Partnerships.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Engage product owners and engineers with enthusiasm about our offerings.
Conduct product demonstrations, address queries, and handle objections during initial sales calls.
Lead the scoping and management of proof of concepts, fostering technical champions.
Collaborate with the Sales team to demonstrate the value of our platform to customers.
Provide vital feedback to the Product team.
Work alongside Solution Engineers and our CTO to devise integration strategies with customers' smart devices.
Develop expert knowledge in our domain, establishing credibility within the industry.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years in a Sales Engineering role within B2B SaaS.
Curiosity and charisma, with a passion for learning and sharing technical knowledge.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of energizing discussions virtually.
Ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations and adapt to evolving situations.
Confidence to challenge the sales team and customers when necessary.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and seek guidance proactively.
Proficient at reading customer dynamics and steering conversations effectively.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Willingness to travel up to 25% within the US.
