We are seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee the management and operations of our real estate properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining positive tenant relations, ensuring the properties are properly maintained, and maximizing revenue through effective leasing and rental strategies. The Senior Property Manager will also be responsible for managing the property management team and collaborating with other departments to achieve company objectives.
Responsibilities
Revenue and Occupancy Initiatives:
Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy rates.
Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
Coordinate with marketing teams to promote properties effectively.
Policy and Procedure Oversight:
Ensure all properties adhere to established policies and procedures.
Conduct regular audits to identify areas of improvement.
Update and refine policies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
Team Management and Support:
Provide guidance and support overall maintenance activities to ensure units are turned effectively and efficiently with a target budget.
Provide guidance and support to Community &
Portfolio Managers.
Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.
Foster a collaborative work environment to ensure cohesive team efforts.
Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as a point of contact for higher management and external stakeholders.
Regularly report on property performance and operational issues.
Address and resolve escalated concerns or conflicts.
Budget and Financial Oversight:
Oversee budgeting and financial planning for properties.
Monitor expenditures and approve major expenses.
Assist in the implementation of approved Capital Expenditures.
Analyze financial reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Property Manager or similar role
In-depth knowledge of property management principles and practices
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to analyze financial reports and budgets
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
