Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Manager to work in our People + Places Advisory (PPA) group. This position will manage teams across multiple strategy and design projects while leading clients through design strategy and change management processes to transform their spaces. This position is open to both a hybrid and remote work situation.
Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager are as follows:
Manages a portfolio of projects with a variety of clients, managing more complex clients and projects
Manages the day-to-day operational aspects of a project, including the budget, hourly effort, base scope, and additional services, with management of all project phases through to close-out
Effectively communicates relevant project information to the client, team, and internal leadership
Responsible for timely and accurate invoicing, monitoring receivables, and the collection of AR
Responsible for delivering revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business caused by flawless execution of projects
Consistently delivers profit margins planned, completing projects without write-downs or multiplier erosion
Manages day-to-day client interaction, communications, and meeting coordination
Ensures project documents, including legal documents, contracts, and task orders are reviewed, approved, signed, and filed per the AECOM project management framework
Assumes responsibility (in partnership with the Market Leader and Project Approver) for financial, technical, and design excellence, overall quality, and client satisfaction
Delivers engaging, informative, and well-organized presentations
