Senior Product Developer, Plastics

Job Description
In a time of unprecedented expansion, we’re looking for a Senior Product Developer to join our RD&
D New Product Development team.This role is responsible for the end-to-end ideation, development, and launch of educational products.The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a solution-oriented mindset and a keen attention to detail to drive quality products. The Product Developer should have a solid understanding of cross-functional teamwork and possess proficiency in data analysis and customer perspective to drive decisions. Our team environment is fun, fast-paced and deadline-driven.
A day in the office looks like this:
Driving product ideation with data that supports customer needs and company growth opportunities
Generating and pitching product concepts to executive leadership
Providing clear direction and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and our Asia team to ensure successful execution of products
Conducting market research and gathering customer insights to inform product development decisions
Ensuring that target price and product functionality expectations are met
Ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety, with a focus on attention to detail
Utilizing effective communication skills to appropriately inform various levels of the organization and team members of project progress, and to report any concerns or project risks
Conduct User Research to inform design decisions.
Collaborate effectively with cross functional team, including Engineering, Sourcing, and Quality to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet deadlines.
Mentor and train new team members by modeling and coaching best practices.
