Job Information

We are looking for a senior network engineer who is interested in helping us build out and operate our MultiCloud network in multiple datacenters utilizing their years of networking experience to help us develop and deliver network solutions to serve our customers? unique requirements. This individual will design, maintain and adjust customer networks to ensure maximum uptime, thorough monitoring, auditing, and the continuous review of network performance and security. The role requires an expert level understanding of routing, switching, network security, network troubleshooting, and extensive hands-on experience managing network switches, routers, firewalls, and other devices.

Responsibilities:

You will help expand and maintain our datacenter network environment by working with our team establishing system configurations, installing a range of network hardware and software, and defining, documenting and enforcing system standards. You will help keep our network secure by developing and enforcing well-defined policies and procedures. Apply sound network engineering principles into the design and enhancement of new and existing networks

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on networking experience working as network lead or senior network engineer
  • Advanced experience designing, building and managing complex networks
  • Experience working with cloud networks and connecting to CSPs (e.G. AWS)
  • Adept at troubleshooting and resolving network performance problems and issues
  • Familiarity with configuration management and automation
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Required Technical Experience:

*

  • 7 years:
    Proven experience with advanced networking engineering, deployment and administration
  • 5 years:
    Experience with network security and designs to support high availability networks
  • 5 years:
    Mastery of LAN, WAN, routing, switching, VLAN, VPN, BGP
  • 3 years:
    Background in network architecture, scalability and management
  • 4 years:
    Experience setting up firewalls and cloud based virtual appliances

Beneficial Technical Experience:

*

  • Arista, Cisco, Juniper or other OEM manufacturer certifications
  • Experience with Equinix Cloud Exchange or Digital Realty SX Fabric
  • Network/datacenter industry experience and certifications
  • Network security and operations experience
  • Familiarity with DevOps, config management, orchestration and automation
  • Hands on experience with working with CSPs to set up native networking gateways or similar configurations
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.G. VMware) and associated network configurations

Qualifications:

Datacenter, Computer Science, or Information Technology degree or equivalent community college or military technical trade training
