How will I contribute?
You will be responsiblefor overseeing the discipline deliverables and budget on simple to complex projects of all sizes. You will coordinate with internal and external architects and engineers, as well as clients, construction managers, subcontractors, and vendors.
You will manage multiple complex tasks, establish priorities, and help direct the work of others on projects. You may act as the mechanical point-of-contact for clients, other disciplines, pre-con services for their scope areas, and help complete complex project code analysis, plan and prepare bid/permit/construction deliverables (including details and specifications), and understand the technical and design aspects of CRB's market areas. You will develop project documents (e.G. calculations, reports and construction drawings and specifications, etc) for clients according to regulatory and industry standards and work with other disciplines to ensure system designs are fully coordinated from conception through completion.
You will also have the opportunity to provide mentorship to earlier-career engineers on projects related to HVAC, plant and clean utility, plumbing, and compressed gas systems.
Responsibilities:
Interface with clients and external partners
Plan and direct work, manage a project budget from a mechanical design perspective on small to medium-sized projects of limited complexity
Support proposal development under the supervision of a lead or senior engineer
Identify basic non-compliant existing conditions during site walks and construction field surveys
Develop construction drawing packages and write construction specifications on intermediate projects of limited complexity and with little oversight
Lead squad check and discipline check for small projects of intermediate complexity and drive overall project quality
Lead intermediate project system design programming and master planning with support from Lead/Senior Engineers
