Job Description
The Global Total Rewards Process Owner oversees the Total Rewards process harmonization efforts to develop streamlined and simplified locally relevant global processes to enable an enhanced employee experience. In scope, processes include compensation administration, bonus administration and recognition administration. The Global Total Rewards Process Owner will collaborate with internal McDonald’s colleagues and 3rd party organizations to validate global process flows, conduct localization activities at the regional and market levels, create detailed work instructions and generate process documentation. The Global Total Rewards Process Owner will drive the required collaboration, decision-making, and critical issues to facilitate the necessary Total Rewards workstream and program actions and outcomes across the Global People function.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead process team including process SMEs and consultants
Support work efforts and decision making to develop processes aligned with the Global People Modernization objectives
Lead process design work activities (global process design validation, localization assessment, development of Total Rewards work instructions/supporting documentation / identification of critical metrics, reporting, etc.)
Facilitate adherence to global process standards
Liaise with other global process owners (GPOs) to drive integrated solutions
Collaborate with appropriate partners on policy harmonization requirements and initiatives related to Total Rewards processes
Support the development and delivery of Total Rewards related training content (as applicable) and Total Rewards Administration service introduction and readiness (service rehearsal)
Play a key role in defining, scheduling, and facilitating Total Rewards process design working sessions
Coordinate tasks and communication between resources across the organization to support Total Rewards process design and implementation activities
Capture knowledge of internal Total Rewards policies and procedures, processes, pain points and opportunity areas for Total Rewards process related enhancements
Facilitate decision making in accordance with process design guidelines and principles
Call out risk and issues to PMO and executive leadership for timely decision making
Set strategy and framework for Total Rewards process design activities, including alignment on methods, templates, and confirming adherence to process and data standards set by the program leadership
