Ensure a clear and measurable set of KPIs against our Finance OKRs and Scorecard to track, report and recognize key milestones and impact statements for our work product.
The Senior Manager Business Intelligence and Analytics will join the Finance Velocity office to design, build and advance the critical tools, systems, capabilities, and innovation of Business Intelligence. The Senior Manager will support Visa’s Finance BI strategy e.G. implementation of AI while leading an initiative to shape and refine our end-to-end reporting/dashboard strategy, reporting automation and standardization and systems user needs and requirements. They will evaluate and influence visualization tools e.G. Tableau and/or Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial data reporting and analysis, experience modernizing BI, and the ability to discern insights and communicate to executive leadership.
Essential Functions:
Enable Data Driven Decision Making:
Evaluate and design strategy and end state vision for integrated, modernized and scalable systems
Elevate and Enable insight-based, forward-looking decision making
Dedicated teams to develop new digital offerings for business decision support
Identify advanced analytics/ AI tooling and use case
Empower leadership with self-service BI to track key KPIs and steer business accordingly
Clear standards govern ERP/BI and analytic tool landscape
Business partners identify true value drivers via advanced analytics and AI/ML tools
Support a team of SMEs, BI Analysts, Data Scientists, Power Users across Finance
Influence without accountability for training on tools and processes with the intention of creating a community for Finance to leverage to support ad-hoc data analysis needs
“A” Accountability over select Key Initiatives:
Drive and deliver business intelligence workstream as part of Transformation, define end-state COE systems, processes and tools for ongoing Reporting and Analytics
BI champion across Transformation as COE on tools and capabilities, institute and scale training, best practice sharing and SME center of excellence
Provide KPI reporting on status of key initiatives and deliverables
Enable broader KPI reporting against key metrics leveraging data analyst team
Develop and manage internal processes and best practices around data, reporting and analytics
Influence and provide thought leadership of shared reporting HUB and capabilities
Successful Qualities:
Business acumen:
Understanding of company and Finance strategy, how transformation ambitions link to the specific initiatives.
Strong voice for issue resolution:
Active role in driving cross-initiative and cross-functional intervention for resolution of challenges
Experience in Data, Visualization and Analytics:
expert level experience with data visualization tools, reporting center of excellence and analytics to shape, strategy and design of end state vision
Strong communication:
Proven strong communication with senior leadership to provide transparency and drive clear accountability for ownership of activities and milestones.
Change championing:
Engage and activate leaders and stakeholders towards change, driving positive sentiment and willingness towards transformation.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
