Overview:
Our rapidly expanding healthcare practice, with multiple locations, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior HR Specialist/HR Manager to lead our Human Resources initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR within the healthcare sector, with proven expertise in interacting with physicians. This role involves overseeing various HR functions, including handbook development, onboarding streamlining, job description revamping, conflict resolution, employee relations, recruitment, and onboarding. The successful candidate should possess exceptional communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
Responsibilities:
Handbook Development:
Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive employee handbooks in compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies.
Ensure clear communication of policies and procedures to foster a positive and compliant workplace.
Onboarding Streamlining:
Enhance and streamline the onboarding process to provide a seamless experience for new hires.
Collaborate with department heads to create effective onboarding programs tailored to various roles.
Job Description Revamping:
Evaluate and revamp job descriptions to align with the evolving needs of the healthcare practice.
Work closely with department managers to ensure accurate representation of roles and responsibilities.
Conflict Resolution and Employee Relations:
Address employee relations matters promptly and effectively, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Provide guidance and support to management in resolving conflicts and promoting a culture of open communication.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Lead the recruitment process, collaborating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and attract top talent.
Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new employees integrate smoothly into the organization.
Availability for Overnight Travel:
Be available for overnight travel approximately 5 days per month to support HR functions at various practice locations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
healthcare-focused degree or certification is preferred.
Proven experience in HR roles within healthcare organizations, with a strong understanding of physician interactions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution and employee relations.
Willingness and availability for overnight travel as needed.
