Senior Frontend Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Senior Frontend Engineer with extensive experience in React and Typescript to lead the modernization of our frontend architecture. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping ourfrontenddevelopment practices, standardizing UI components, and ensuring the scalability and maintainability of ourfrontendcodebase. The ideal candidate is passionate about building intuitive user interfaces,optimizingperformance, and staying abreast of the latestfrontendtechnologies and best practices.

Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the design and development offrontendarchitecture, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to existing functionality.
Architect, develop, andmaintainhigh-quality frontend code using React,TypeScript, Redux, and other relevantlibrariesand frameworks.
Collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to translate business requirements and design mockups into elegant, responsive user interfaces.
Establish and enforcefrontenddevelopment best practices, coding standards, and conventions across the engineering team.
Standardize UI components and design patterns to promote consistency and reusability throughout our application.
Optimize frontend performance and user experience byidentifyingand addressing performance bottlenecks, implementing responsive design principles, andleveragingbrowser APIs.
Stayup-to-datewith the latestfrontendtechnologies, tools, and trends, and actively contribute to ongoing learning and knowledge sharing within the team
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of professional experience infrontenddevelopment, with a strong focus on React and related technologies.
Proventrack recordof successfully leadingfrontendmigration projects and delivering high-quality, scalable React applications.
Deep understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies, with a keen eye forfrontenddesign and user experience.
Experience with state management libraries such as Redux orMobX.
Familiarity with frontend build tools and package managers (e.G., Webpack, Babel,npm).
Experience with testing frameworks (e.G., Jest, Enzyme) or server-side rendering.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for writing clean, maintainable code.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Bonus:
Experience with Storybook to build reusable components.
Location:
This position will require occasional travel within the Detroit Metro area
