Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in financial planning, analysis, and decision support for the organization. You will be responsible for providing strategic insights and data-driven recommendations to support the company's financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&
A):
Lead the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
Conduct variance analysis between actuals and budget/forecasts, providing insights on financial performance.
Reporting:
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track financial and operational metrics.
Strategic Support:
Collaborate with business units to understand financial impacts of operational decisions.
Provide financial modeling and analysis to support strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, investments, and new business opportunities.
Data Analysis:
Analyze complex financial data and create financial models for decision support.
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to enhance financial performance.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting and analysis.
Develop and maintain robust financial systems and procedures.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting.
Proven experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
Experience with financial reporting tools and ERP systems (e.G., SAP, Oracle).
Skills and Abilities:
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis software.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Certifications (Preferred):
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Working Conditions:
Primarily office-based with occasional travel to other company locations or client sites.
May require working extended hours during peak financial periods (e.G., month-end, quarter-end, year-end).
