The Opportunity:
The Global Brand Team (GBT) Finance Department is seeking a collaborative and self-motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join the team in its Corporate Headquarters in El Segundo, CA. This position reports directly into the Manager of Finance and provides an opportunity to work cross-functionally within GBT and across the Mattel organization.
What Your Impact Will Be:
As Senior Financial Analyst, serve as independent cross-functional team lead on FP&
A and Reporting processes and projects. Candidate must be able to represent fact-based positions, run analyses, and lead a wide variety of constituencies to accomplish objectives.
Provide financial direction to cross functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Brand, Finance, Design &
Development, Supply Chain) to help achieve brand profitability objectives
Partner with Corporate FP&

Reporting teams to review forecasts / results to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and planning
Effectively communicate financial results, concepts and issues with Senior Management
Coordinate communications regarding key financial deliverables
Lead and drive in-depth financial analysis related to key category/brand initiatives and strategic projects, including formulating steps and executing to successful conclusion
Perform significant ad-hoc analyses by request
