In this role you’ll be responsible for:
Investigate new and emerging technologies, design and implement prototypes for early / usability testing and participate in technology forums and collaborations.
Produces and maintains required technical documentation associated with work product.
Contribute innovative and feasible ideas and solutions by leveraging new technologies and tools.
Develop and maintain re-usable components that accelerate application development and reduce complexity.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive integration strategy aligned to overall IT strategy.
Evaluating “Fit for purpose” for Build vs. Buy decisions for applications for new business demand and/or platform affinity.
Proposing application optimization for externally developed applications
Developing technology debt management practices for internally developed applications.
Evaluating emerging application development standards, technologies, and practices to integrate into internal development standards and practices.
Escalation points for intractable engineering problems encountered by application development teams.
Tools and skills you will use in this role:
.NET, Java, Python, or related technical stacks with understanding of software lifecycle.
Design of CI/CD pipeline, automated integration deployments, etc.
SDLC process for the web development delivery including the deployment of code.
Best practices and understanding of integration patterns and practices.
Clear interpersonal communication, proofreading, editing, and formatting skills.
