Introduction to the job
This opening – Senior Electron Optics engineer, will design, evaluate and optimize the electron optics concept with simulation method.
Role and responsibilities
Simulate the performance of next generation of eSource
Simulate the performance of next generation column
Generate design concept and ideas for performance improvement.
Simulation study and evaluate the mechanical and electrical tolerance impact on electron optical performance.
Define key spec and provide design guidance to mechanical and electrical engineer to meet overall performance.
Design of experiment for performance verification and troubleshooting.
Education and experience
Ph D with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
5+ of Years of electron optics design relevant experience
Physics, Applied Physics or Electrical Engineering background
3+ years’ experience on electron optics simulation and design for eSource and column
1 to 2 years’ experience with mechanical design tools (i.E. Solidworks, NX, etc.)
Strong communication skills – both written and oral, ability to influence, stakeholder management, etc.

Other information
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently $155,625-$259,375. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
