The Senior Director for Army Services is responsible for providing senior leadership in the capture, development, integration, and execution of MTSI business opportunities in the U.S. Army’s Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology) ASA (ALT) specifically PEO Missile and Space, PEO Aviation, Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technology Office, Army Geospatial Center and other similar organizations. This senior leader partners with the AMD EVP and senior AMD leadership to create and implement integrated, capability-driven growth in the Army Services market.

Responsibilities:

Identifying and capturing future growth opportunities in the Army Services markets
Executing successful program development and ongoing expansion of current AMD Army Services efforts
Providing technical leadership and contract management oversight for AMD engineers and analysts supporting Army Service organizations
Help define MTSI and AMD’s strategic requirements and recommended penetration strategy for the Army’s services market in order to promote company market share growth

Qualifications:

Embraces MTSI culture and exhibits MTSI Core Values
20 years’ experience in Army ASA(ALT) and like organizations and markets (Prior Military and Civilian experience combinations are acceptable).
Must possess a familiarity with the Army customer base and a have thorough knowledge of Army ASA(ALT) and other similar Army organizations.
Awareness of current industry capabilities aligned with Army sectors.
10+ years’ experience in progressive leadership roles with significant profit and loss (>
$25M) and/or overseeing an organization exceeding 200 staff members.
Senior leader with a consistent track record of achieving significant business growth through personal leadership in the planning, development, integration, and sales of highly differentiated services and solutions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong leadership skills who has high credibility with senior decision makers in the U.S. Army markets.
Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written as well as a history of presentation skills to clients, industry partners, and boards.
Ability to open conversations and close deals / opportunities.
Track record of revenue growth and profit target achievement.
Demonstrable ability to work in fast-changing environments.
Extensive knowledge of strategic planning, business development, and customer relationships in the U.S. Army sectors.
Expert capture manager and proposal writer/reviewer with track record of delivering high proposal win rates as P&
L leader.
Highly motivated, organized and possessing the ability to multi-task.
Customer-oriented focus.
Ability to build, motivate and retain a strong team of performers.
Professional and positive approach, self-motivated, team player, creative with the ability to work on own initiative.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree
Advanced degree (MBA or related field) is preferred.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

Active Secret clearance is required
SAP experience, TS/SCI clearance eligibility highly desired

LOCATION:
This position is located/based in the Huntsville, Alabama area.

TRAVEL:
The position requires moderate travel (10%-20%) to customer and office locations across the United States
