Job Description
General Summary:
Under limited direction, responsible for managing and maintaining the data repositories that is required to extract, transform, cleanse and manage data in support of the organization’s analytics ecosystem.
Principal Responsibilities and Tasks:

Manage DevOps-focused work for diverse projects, including ongoing support and maintenance of data stack, analytics and software lifecycle.
Research and plan system architecture, design, and automation in support of in-house-developed software, platforms, data and analytics products.
Confer and deliberate with personnel from across the org chart, including DBA, Developer, and non-technical staff, where needed.
Manage the release and maintenance of open and close source software and projects.
Complete capacity planning as well as make recommendations to management about infrastructure decisions.
Mentor DevOps engineers on problem solving techniques as well as skills development and transfer own knowledge to them at appropriate intervals to develop scale on DevOps.
Manage availability and performance problems for clients;
automate resolution to prevent re-occurrence.
