Senior Construction Project Manager

Engineering Design Technologies is seeking a Senior Project Manager to be part of our team in Metro Atlanta. With more than 30 years of experience in the design and construction industry, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager to manage various commercial and/or industrial construction projects ranging in size from $2MM to $30MM. The ideal candidate should be goal-driven, exhibit excellent leadership skills, and possess a solid understanding of construction methodologies in order to direct and control all phases of construction projects from preparation of a bid on through to final closeout.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation, monitoring progress, ensuring quality output, and safety compliance up to completion
Collaborate with the pre-construction team to develop a project schedule, select subcontractors and equipment, and determine manpower requirements
Create and execute project work plans and revise them as needed to meet changing needs and requirements
Ensure project delivery within the budget guidelines, and ensure all financial targets are met
Supervise and guide project team members and subcontractors through clear communication, training and monitoring of their performance
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and risk management plans throughout the project's lifecycle
Continuously monitor and report on project progress to all stakeholders, including upper management and clients
Requirements
Requirements Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
Minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience in construction
Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously
Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills
Familiarity with construction software tools, including but not limited to Bluebeam, MS Office Suite, MS Project and Procore
Knowledge of safety guidelines, regulations, and legal issues related to construction
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
