Senior Buyer

Job Description
Techo-Bloc is on the hunt for our next passionate and creative Senior Buyer. Day-to-day, the specialist will collaborate with various teams to source, research and advise on plant purchasing strategy.
Here is what the day-to-day of a Senior Buyer entails:
Assisting all Techo-Bloc US sites in making more strategic purchasing decisions by researching options, analyzing spend, and identifying the best sources for buying materials
Actively develop relationships with new and existing vendors, while handling contract and pricing negotiations.
Negotiating with vendors on pricing, availability, service, and volume
Partners with the Maintenance team to identify needs and present viable purchasing options for equipment and supplies.
Shares research and expertise on industry trends, new products, and potential problem-solving solutions.
Compares available goods to determine best pricing.
Acts as a liaison between departments, vendors and colleagues.
