$70,000 - $90,000 / per year based on relevant experience
The Senior Buyer position is a member-obsessed leadership role at a high-growth, multi-site hospitality business. The Senior Buyer will support development, fitness, facilities, repairs and maintenance, home office, and other functions related to their construction and equipment purchasing needs. This role requires strategic, technical, change management, and operational expertise, demonstrated through prior education and professional work experience.
This role will support the Director of Purchasing &
Supply Chain with significant changes regarding personnel, structure, policies, processes, and systems, which must be designed to scale to support the business' growth. This role will assist with designing, implementing, and then executing internal controls and compliance over significant portions of the procure-to-pay and capital expenditure processes.

The first 90 days of employment will be in-office to facilitate training and onboarding. After this initial period, the option to work remotely on certain days may become available.
Responsibilities (includes but is not limited to the following):
Assist with designing, implementing, administering, and monitoring contracts and purchasing policies, programs, processes, and systems.
Provide advisory support to leadership and transactional support to the business for construction and equipment sourcing, purchasing, and logistics.
Support and partner with construction project managers and fitness leadership to facilitate successful new club build-outs and remodels.
Partner with executive, regional, district, and club-level leadership to develop a best-in-class supply chain execution for construction and equipment.
Counsel executives on the implication of supply chain issues, contracts/subcontract ethics, and compliance matters.
Assist with negotiations of major contracts, subcontracts, services, and supply agreements.
Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
Review and recommend terms and conditions, including confidentiality and other agreements.
Represent the company to suppliers, establishing and developing supplier relationships.
Onboard new suppliers and manage change with existing suppliers.
Drive operational and financial excellence by meeting or exceeding established department KPIs.
Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for construction materials and gym equipment to meet project needs
Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies in the purchasing process
Manage budgets and track purchasing expenditures
Prepare cost analysis and reports for senior management
Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives
Assist with developing, presenting, and monitoring programs to communicate to staff.
Assist with responding to internal and external audits of contracts and procurement functions, as needed.
Mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions and supplier reliability, where possible.
Conduct market research to stay informed about trends, pricing, and availability of construction materials and gym equipment
Analyze and forecast market trends to make informed purchasing decisions
