Job Description
System Administration:
Perform day-to-day administration tasks, such as user account management, access control, and system monitoring, to ensure the stability and security of applications
Upkeep:
Coordinate and apply software updates, patches, and security fixes to applications in a timely manner to address vulnerabilities and maintain compliance with security policies. Building and maintaining robust dataflows that connect to the data sources such as SQL servers or direct data access to databases and cloud services
Application Support:
Provide technical support for a wide range of software applications used across the organization, including troubleshooting issues, resolving user queries, and ensuring timely resolution of incidents.
Issue Resolution:
Investigate and analyse software-related issues reported by users, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
System Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software upgrades, patches, and configurations, to ensure optimal performance and security of applications. Develop/modify procedures, packages, and functions in the database environment
Documentation:
Create and maintain documentation related to application support processes, troubleshooting procedures, and system configurations to facilitate knowledge sharing and efficient problem resolution.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and business analysts, to address complex issues and implement enhancements to applications based on user feedback and business requirements. Handle ad hoc user data requests
Analysis:
Visualize and present data in a clear and compelling way;
Performing ad-hoc reporting to support the business and help in data-driven decision making.
