Excellent National Law firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Real Estate Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in real estate litigation, with a strong background in commercial litigation. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation and courtroom skills who can handle complex legal matters with confidence and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in real estate litigation matters, including but not limited to, disputes involving property ownership, lease agreements, land use, zoning, construction defects, and title issues.
Manage all phases of litigation from inception through trial, including discovery, motions, and appeals.
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop effective case strategies.
Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their rights, obligations, and risks in real estate transactions and disputes.
Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings.
Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.
Participate in business development activities, including client meetings, networking events, and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active membership in good standing with the state bar.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in real estate litigation, with a strong preference for candidates with commercial litigation experience.
Proven track record of successfully handling complex litigation matters.
Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills.
Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods.
Familiarity with local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations.
Strong client relationship management skills.
