Senior Associate, Portfolio Operations

Job Description
Tiverton is seeking a proactive and resourceful Senior Associate, Portfolio Operations, who can provide the highest quality financial modeling and accounting acumen for Tiverton and its related portfolio companies.This position will be an integral part of bridging deal execution and management oversight with operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver who is hands-on, capable of summarizing key data, and effective communicator. They should possess the drive and skills to develop strategic frameworks, identify business improvement opportunities, and implement solutions with stakeholder buy-in.The successful Senior Associate, Portfolio Operations, will be self-motivated and energized by working with a group of thoughtful, smart, and skilled colleagues.
Partner with the portfolio company senior leadership to build out best-in-class accounting and financial processes including the monthly close process and financial statement reporting
Monitor working capital, credit facilities and cash management, including a rolling 13-week cash forecast
Collaborate with deal teams and portfolio company senior leadership to develop an annual budget, forecast, actuals-to-budget with variance analysis and commentary
Conduct in-depth analysis of portfolio company performance identifying areas for improvement and growth opportunities
Develop various industry leading KPIs, dashboards, other metrics for board presentations
Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement of strategic plans to maximize investment returns
Co-lead key strategic value creation ideas, post-acquisition synergies, and capital expenditures optimization
Develop and participate in portfolio companies process optimization, system implementation, and internal control projects/enhancements
